Anti-Bullying Week is back! From the 13th - 17th November, people across the country will be making a noise about bullying.

LUFC supports the work of Kidscape to REACH, REPRESENT and RESPOND to children, young people and their communities.

Kidscape want to help children learn about bullying and celebrate positive friendships this Anti-Bullying Week and Friendship Friday, and have prepared lots of resources to help get started. These include, free family activities, lesson plans, book lists, assemblies and much more!

Visit the Kidscape website for more information: https://www.kidscape.org.uk/resources-and-campaigns/anti-bullying-week-and-friendship-friday/

Visit the documents page of our website to vie the policies that we have in place, including the Anti-bullying policy which is also attached to this article for ease of reference.

An Open Letter from the parent of a Young Referee is also attached. The treatment of Young Referees by some coaches and spectators is an issue that causes great concern across the game. The Hampshire FA and LUFC stand together in reminding all participants that Young Referees are children, often learning new skills and contributing to a game that they love. We all have a responsibility to protect young people across the game, whether they are players, volunteers or Young Referees.

Anyone who witnesses conduct towards Young Referees that causes concern should contact our Child Welfare Officer (CWO) using childwelfareofficer@liphookunitedfootballclub.org, in order for concerns to be directed to the Hampshire FA Discipline Team (discipline@hampshirefa.com).

Thank you for your continued support as we seek to ensure a safe and fun environment for all young people across the game.
